Another newbie looking for the best gear

Hey guys i am looking for a good camera with mic input at an affordable price. I had a gopro but i just hated it so am looking at either a drift ghost x or a sena prism tube wifi

I have never been able to get the mic to work on the gopro so lokking forward to having something that i can get to actually work lol

Hero 5 session

The firmware on the Hero 5 Session nerf'd it, you can revert the firmware to an older version which allows you to use the external mic adaptor and mic and still be able to just use the top button to start recording with it all working. I have made a vid on how to fix it, not the greatest quality help vid but it helped Jake The Garden Snake sort his audio.

Although I have a GoPro Hero 6 Black, and a GoPro Hero 7 Black I still use my GoPro Hero 5 Session as a helmet camera, great little cameras if you can get the one touch record work with an external microphone!

Tbh i Just cant work qith go pro it keeps screwing up on me, dont knpw if it was because mines a refurbished one or not but it freezes all the time and fails to link to my phpne 95% of the time so im thinking either ghost x or sena prism tube

Ahh okily. No idea about the other cameras, although a few on here use the Drifts

I personally use a Drift Ghost S. I was going to upgrade my Drift Ghost S to one of the newer Drifts but there has been quite a few issues with regards to using the mic adapters.
