Fixing a dent...

Never Hold In A Fart
So I don't want to go into detail as to how it happened, but I have a dent on the side of my tank and I want to repair it without replacing the whole gas tank. is this possible or am I farked...

This vid shows a couple of ways you can attempt it, either by using a dent removal tool or filling the dent and repainting it. I'd probs look at the first option. (not my video BTW)

it is a cool vid mate, worth a watch. It all depends on how good a result you want as to how much time/effort you want to put in to it. You may find a second hand tank is better value than the effort required to fix it yourself, but only you know what your time and effort is worth! :-)

Depends on your tank construction, a old trick was to put a length of chain inside and use it to gently tap the dint out by shaking it around. Problem is many modern tanks are twin skinned.

i am betting mine is twin skinned. (dont know what that means but its a fairly thick tank). Plus it's like a palm sized dent
