Looks like everyone posted a lot of awesome comparison videos already.

If it means anything I don't plan on getting a Hero 5, but instead I'm going to get a 4 at some point and it will probably be a silver.

The bells and whistles are nice on the black, but at the end of the day the silver will do everything you need it to do for less.

Get as much memory as you can afford. It sucks to run out in the middle of a good ride/vlog.

I got this package, two Wasabi batteries and a charger. The Wasabi batteries I used in my Hero 3 lasted much longer than the original. I hope that's true for the 4. My fully charged standard battery only lasted half an hour this morning!

This is the mic I got. The clip broke pretty quick but the mic itself sounds good. Plus it has a mini-USB connector that plugs straight into the GoPro, eliminating that overpriced adapter you need for most mics.

A skeleton case is a must - don't trust that wimpy frame one! I use something similar to this - MUCH less expensive than GoPro's overpriced case.

At least you already have the mounts. I had to go buy my own when I started motovlogging. I already had the batteries and skeleton case, though, from shooting track day video in the car.

It mainly depends on your helmet. A chin mount seems to be the preferred method. I use a side mount, though. I wear a modular helmet, and the button to release the flip-up latch is right where a chin mount would be.

Short cable, which is great for a helmet, and it plugs right into GoPro. Stereo and sounds good - much better than you'd expect for US$9!

Go Pro silvers 3+ or 4 are both the tits and can record in 1080p, plus you can pick an external mic for very cheap thats good sound quality. Just make sure it has a wind muffler

GoPro Hero +LCD are selling at 150€, now. What do you think about it? No replaceable battery, but can be connected to powerbank. Any other possible problems?

i would have to say i am still drawn between the Hero 5 (new camera buy) and Drift... (4K vs 1080P mind you)... the form factor of the Go Pro for side mount sucks.. the sound recording on the Drift is still a clear winner for me though.. and accessories for mounting - so much but so annoying the range needed for Go Pro.. My Drift has 2/3 mounts and that is everything i need but the Go pro i am still buying new arms, swivels etc to achieve what i want..

Get the gopro 4 silver - best one i've used, no one uses 4K atm so the black is pointless
