So... What About Your Dream Bike?

If i'm correct, they are getting produced in the UK again!

Harleys are made in india now too, or even, the components are sourced from there and then put together in america...

Yes, the Harley Street 500 and 750 are of Indian heritage:

I have seen them used as training bikes here in the US. I would love to ride one just to see about fit, finish, and overall quality.

'indian heritage'
That's a suprisingly nice way of saying it.

I'm usually met with 'HARLEY AINT EVEN AMERICAN ANYMORE BRO THEY ARE MADE IN INDIA' etc etc

Harley has had that issue for at least 20+ years! I remember seeing magazine articles pointing out that replacement parts like carbs were made in China.

The way I see it is, "So?" Doesn't the rest of the world deserve the chance to get one of the more finicky bikes out there?

I do like the dual manufacturing facility approach. More employees worldwide!

My dream bike:
An MV Agusta F3 675
Why? Because it just looks so good! The only drawback is the top speed of only 258km/h (around 160mph), and it is not touring friendly.

My other (affordable) dream bike is a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K6, because they look nice and are fast as hell.
I also like the built quality of Suzuki's, hence I ride a Freewind.
There are also a lot of aftermarket parts available, thus being cheap to fix.
It also has fuel injection which makes it easier to tune than carbed bikes.

Why do I want a supersport? Because I've never ridden one, and I like the power :)

My dream bike is one that I hobbled together myself and is infused with the blessings from the spirits who traveled the roads before me. I also would like a 2007 Harley-Davidson Street Bob until I get my all parts gathered.

I'm just going to leave this here.....

Definitely my 2nd bike choice which will hopefully occur at the start of next season.

Baby blue and white Heritage Softtail Classic. I saw one at a toy run and fell in love ;)

ONLY 160mph?
I'm lucky if mine goes 100mph.

Mind you, with the apes and forward controls i'm like a parachute and I have to hold on for life!

Brough Superior as even a wreck is worth £75,000
So.... after you sell the wreck and use the 75k to buy an actual dream bike... what will it be?

I know a guy that went from london to poland and back on an RC8 made out of carbon.

That bike is sick!

That is my dream bike even as a wreck, I would then spend 50K restoring it into a stunner

Get a real bike... like a dyna ;)
That's a very close second choice. If I was a single man I'd pick a blacked out Wide Glide over the Heritage probably. I like to have the ol lady come along with me..... Most of the time lol.

I own my dream bike, so just know that anytime i record from my bike I have a massive woody lol

The BMW 1200 GS Adventure is my dream motorcycle... but I guess it will remain a dream for me...

If ever I can afford it!!!!

I saw my dream bike today for sale. Unfortunately a divorce lawyer was going to outweigh the bike cost. Absolutely gutted.

In my 29 years of riding now, I'm lucky enough to have ridden many many bikes that I've had on my bucket list. When I was a kid, the kawi double r and the rc30 topped the list. Ive owned a double R and ridden both the rc 30 and 31.. Fantastic bikes. The yammi r7 is nice too. I suppose for me a dream bike is something seemingly unobtainable... Like the britten vr1000 or a Honda nsr 500 signed by mick doohan ...
So instead I have bucket list bikes..

My next bucket list bike will be a triumph rocket 3
