Which 'type ' Of Vlogs Do You Enjoy Watching The Most?

Shifty

Motovlogger
Had my feet up for a few days at home. So I have been trawling through the vlogs that have been posted. I really enjoyed the mix of watching them.
  • Loved the one subject ones, where people are telling a true life story or event, makes them seem more genuine and interesting.:)
  • Not so keen on the pseudo american accents or fake 'Im trying to sound hilarious" ones.:(
  • Got really really bored of watching riding through london number 68, oooops near miss again videos, oh look somebody is texting, although I liked the first few. :(
  • Enjoyed the baron von .... he mixes it up a bit.:)
  • overall i love the mix ....:)
  • Some of the intro's are awesome:)

im sick of seeing grom vlogs there small and slow even my 125 is faster i also don't like the way they treet them i be leave in respect for your bikes iv noticed alot of people treet them as if they don't matter stop the grom abuse lol

I hate videos that are just there for doing half assed stunts and trolling people.

I hate rage videos. But I like critical videos with good reasons why they hate something or the other.

I hate videos that are 100% just cruising and reacting to shit. It's boring.

What I like is informative videos.

I also like topical videos, it can be anything, like something happened in your family, or your dog died, but tell me a consistent story, not just a bunch of disconnected ramblings.

This is why i like Chase for his bike first rides, but I don't like to watch Jake. I also like RJ.

List time!

I watch vlogs with proper topics and honest opinions. Comments to the culture/community etc.
Reviews (or warnings) can be interesting.
I also like it when the vlogger experiences something that is new to them. like exploring new areas and countries. The trouble and joys of traveling.
Tunnel revbombs (unless linked to general hooning).
List videos, any topic.

Short term life updates and vlogs with no specific topics can be a bit boring. "I opened the fridge without a reason yesterday", "Oh look, traffic!"
Hooning, nope, not fun to watch, just fun to do if anything.
I like explanation vids, but if the sound cuts just to show a picture of that broken footpeg from the crash 2 months ago it is a bit too lazy productionwise for me. Its not hard to overlay a pic instead of ending a clip for the sake of said pic.
Long intros. Long pauses, mediocre roads.

If the video is entertaining due to good humor, or has incredibly high production value. some of the negatives can be acceptable.

Why wouldn't I? Pretty much all 125s are learner legal, so a max power and a max power to weight ratio, I'd go for the fun one. On a commute I'd be on 30/40 limits, it's a little bike and easy to get about on, and you can hoon on it too or do Gromkhana stuff which appeals. Otherwise I'd just buy a CBF or YBR 125 and plain commute on that and nothing else.

iv been riding 125s for over 10 years there is a lot of variety for anything a grom in my eyes has nothing appealing about it if i wanted a grate commuter and crazy ass bike to hoon and be mad on id go for a yamaha tw now there a crazy small bike as for how the way people treet them the forks wouldn't last and they'd never pass there first mot over here because the frames are not made for it they would buckle remember in america they can get away with riding/driving practically scrap metal .

You get more YouTube views riding a grom more than any other 125
yeh that's true but id rather not follow the crowds i ride what i want to ride not what people want to see me ride there not bad bikes i just hate to see any bike treated how people treat them

I seem to watch the channels with people I find interesting. The people who I wouldn't mind listening to several hours and still find them intriguing. I watch some channels that I have absolutely no interest in what they are doing, but those people make it worth while watching.

I like to watch a variety. But I've noticed an increase in angry riders riding dangerously to yell and insult a bad driver. Its amusing at first, but i think a few are going out looking for it which isnt as interesting.

I watch most videos but they have to be under 5 mins for me to consider it first, unless it is someone I already like or a title/thumb that gets my attention.

It really depends though, some things can't be covered in 5 minutes. Maybe changing it to watch first 5 minutes, continue only if interesting is more reasonable.

y would you buy one over any other 125 tho ?

For me I'd go for a road legal pitbike over a grom, although I'd also go for a grom over a regular 125. Due to the fact that a regular 125 just wouldn't keep my attention whatsoever. I'd feel like I'm on a mobility scooter or something.

No offense to 125 riders n all but when you get a bigger more powerful bike you tend to understand, and I don't really think anyone would go back to a 125. Now a grom as it's small and fun it's more like a toy... as is a pitbike, although I prefer the pitbike as you can offroad those bad boys and they are soooo much fun. still a 125 but sooo much more fun :D

I like a mixture of vlogs myself, I do enjoy Baron as he does keep up the mix. Generally I like vlogs that have some sort of meaning, unless they are designed to just purely have smiles on your face whether through good deeds or comical dual vlog challenges n what not. I do love dual vlogs though, more interaction going on.
