Feiyu Wg + Gopro Hd3 Chest Mount Setup

I did a few tests with the Feiyu 3 axis gimbal I bought. The first gimbal I got was broken and rotated infinitely, but the second has done well in my drift car and mounted on a chesty GoPro harness.

It is super easy to use and so far the new one makes for some really neat, stable footage. No editing was done to any of the videos. I bought mine for under $300.

Look forward to trying it out on the street and dirt.

Yeah I saw your video before I bought mine, seems it is hit or miss. You can see how crazy the first one I had was. I think they are made pretty beefy actually. All metal, brushless motors, etc. We will see how it holds up, already had to deal with a lot of vibration in my drift car (solid metal engine mounts) and you can barely notice it. I'm impressed so far.

Make sure you don't update the software unless you need to, as it can cause a load of problems.

Looks pretty sweet when it works. Removes almost all vibrations.

Don't normally allow peoples videos outside of the post your video but its clear you're sharing info, rather than looking for subs etc.

I'd like one of these on a track bike but not 100% sure it wont break so I'm sitting and waiting

I feel old saying this...but I wish they had this when I was in college. I went to school for video/documentary and it was a dream of mine to have a big SD camera with a full body SteadyCam rig that cost thousands of dollars. Now for $600 you can have a super HD camera (GoPro) and a filly stabilized gimbal. Crazy! I'm super stoked, just wish I didn't have to be at work all the time so I can try out my new toys.

I've had good luck with my pole mounted 3axis Feyu. It definitely feels frail though. When traveling with it I keep it in the box.
