Usually when I ride I'm not thinking about the dangers of motorcycling(weaving in and out of traffic, near misses from idiots)...but afterwards throughout my day, it dawns on me how dangerous it is and how it's probably a matter of time before an accident happens (I.E. idiot gets me). Do any of you have that sort of thought process? I have no idea why I think of these things when I'm not riding...but I do. Recently some rider near me got killed by a drunk driver, I hear of similar occurrence's pretty regularly. Just puts things into perspective, I'll keep ridding because I love it, but that thinking always lingers with me and reminds me not to be too complacent.
Granted I've only been ridding for about 3k miles so far, so wondering if that's just newbie stuff.
