General Scooter Commuter

I crunch the numbers on riding my scooter to work, discuss the pros and cons of scooting vs public transportation and I say "In reality" a lot.

Cool! That's my plan. Luckily here in Austin if it's icy or snowy the city shuts down.

that sucks a city shuts down but lol snow must be crazy or never hardly happen

I've turned into a bit of a wimp these days. I used to ride in heat, rain, snow, whatever. Now I take the car if it's going to be hotter than about 95° out or rainy or colder than about 40° (I'll put up with it if it's just the morning and the afternoon will be OK). My commute is almost 30 miles in Dallas traffic now, though, so it's a little dicey when the weather is bad.
