Youtube Url Advice Needed!

Hey guys, I could really use some advice!

I finally got the ability to make my custom URL and it is saying I have to add something to it IE it can't just be RamblinRider Any Advice?? I was thinking just adding a 1 but it can't be changed once it is set! Any better ideas?

Let me know what you think please!

PS I just checked and YT.com/Ramblinrider is not used

How would I check such things? G+ and I don't get along haha thanks man!

PS I tried simply typing it in and it says page does not exist so i think I am good on that end?

O, if thats all yeah I typed that google.com/+RamblinRider in and says no page so I think i am good...i thought you were getting more technical than that! lol

hmmm i dunno! I check for Ramblin'Rider channels before making mine and there were none and just checked for other google plus pages and there were none! "I'm new, I don't know what to do!" -Joe Dirt hahah

I was thinkin' RamblinRiderVlogs but RamblinRiderMoto is also nice Thanks budday! It sucks it cant be changed lol that means it will take me forever to decide! haha

I know! what the hell! They are such a big entity that im pretty sure they just say F it and don't have a help line for these things lol

Im glad I had my account back before having to do this. Whatever your account name was was your url.

I know! It looks like because someone had this name at some point in history i guess it wont allow it...

Thanks for all the help guys! I am glad I did not do anything too hastily ...I tried on Mobile App this morning and it worked fine! You can now find me at Youtube.com/RamblinRider and it feels good hehe

I had this.

I deleted 2 characters from my name (TheSwissMota), then went through this process and added "rd" as my extra two characters to give me "TheSwissMotard".

Handy if the mobile application glitch ever gets fixed.

The PC version would not let me edit the name at all - only add characters But luckily enough I tried on my phone just in case it worked no problem for some reason...wtf YT haha

You have to edit your name in YouTube's general settings first, not in the custom URL feature.

Then run the custom URL feature again.
