Youtube Tags

I just installed social blades extension which shows me every videos tags, And i have to say im pretty shocked at what ive seen on motovlogs, Lots of bigger youtubers names, things like "crash, wheelie, death, cops, pursuit ect" when the videos have none of that.

I spoke to some other motovloggers about it and obviously its shady and not a far shy from clickbaiting, but what do you all think? I want more opinions

I'm honestly not surprised, a lot of the big vloggers got big from a few viral videos. Just continuing to use viral tags. Shame when money is involved.

YouTubes emphasis on tags is tiny now that's why the big youtuners don't care about them.

oh and tube buddy does a better job.

Interesting. I try and at least put some thought into my tags on every video...does it at least help with your videos showing up next to other videos with similar content? I'm finding a great deal more of my traffic comes from suggested videos than from searches these days.

Thats about all tags are good for now, suggested videos. I make sure I use all the ones tubebuddy recommends for suggested tags.

The key is to use tags that have a high amount of people searching for them but barely any completion

Google 'google keyword tool'

However, unless you're in the industry and paid advertising via google.... you'll see really limited data
