Okay guys, I've noticed this on a few people's videos, not just my own. I tag my video with things like Motorcycle, Kawasaki, KDX, 220, Dirt Bike, Woods, Vlog, Motovlog, etc. and I end up with suggestions like Jennamarbles, BFvsGF, and other just vloggers. there are ZERO other motovlogs in the suggestions. I tried switching the category from "Blogs and people" to "Autos and vehicles" (After looking to see that AB+ and Jakethegardensnake were both set in that category) and it made no difference. I was wondering what tags you use, and what tags to avoid. also, maybe we could all use a common tag set (along with a few unique ones) so that on our videos, the suggestions will be promoting each other's videos. anyone wanna do this with me?

I've been posting in autos and vehicles, but I wasn't sure if I should be there or people and blogs.
Tags I use are similar,

honda, rvt, hornet, 599, vlog, motovlog, motorcycle, rc51, drifthd, gopro,

those are my usual's.

auto and vehicles as well.

kawasaki, gpz, motovlog, motor, motorcycle, drift, meifesto, are standerd tags

Ok, cool. now we should decide a set of common tags to add into our unique ones, so that our videos are all shown as related, so they'll show up in the suggestions of each others videos. our tag group could be as simple as "Cow, road, moto, power, motovlog, group, ride, drive, street, etc." we just need to develop it.

Maybe you need to stop watching jennamarbles?
Sounds like a good idea, give me a list and I'll add it as standard and just put on topic relevant tags at the end.

Lol. Yes, I have watched a couple of her vids, like, a year or so ago, cause my cousin told me she was funny.... but that was on my other account. not my motovlog specific account.

And gibberish tags may be the best option, cause they will be guaranteed to be unique.

I've tried different tags, sections etc and it seems to make little difference to viewer count, that just seems to come from two things. Your true subscribers (forget all that sub me back rubbish etc) and the most important thing Video title!

Without a shadow of a doubt the video title is the most important thing for views (oh video thumbnail comes into this too hence the number of girls butts on them now a days).

BUT

For advertising the tags and category are important! The adverts that appear on you video are worked out via the tags and the category. So putting your videos into Motor section is a good idea as it will hopefully help get the correct type of advert on you video and hence more clicks.

:)

Depending on what i'm talking about i will either put my videos in People & blogs or autos and vehicles if it's motorbike related. The following is an example of tags i put on my videos...

c81, crackn81, stupid, retard, honda, CBR, CBR600, 600rr, motovlog, sportsbike, ride.

the "stupid" & "retard" is what i do best, so i always put them in along with username in case someone does a search for ya name the video will pop up in the list.

Don't over think the tags too much.

a "viral" video of mine only has 12 tags & other videos of mine have over 30 tags with under 1k views. thumbnails are what really sell a video.
