YouTube removing monetisation

Hi all

Been doing some recent videos using the term Aesops Fables and using YouTube own free download music in the creation tools but each video has been questioned by You Tube and monetisation removed.

All the video content is my own and there is no copyright infringement on using the term Aesops Fable as far as I can find.

Don't really care about the monetisation aspect as no one watches anyway and I have very few subscribers, but I am concerned about losing good standing. Is it likely that someone has been nefarious reporting my videos as they are an Aesop Fable channel or does anyone know if there are special rules on acknowledging the music as I can't find any on YouTube

Thanks

O8

Have you emailed YT and asked them? The first line of copyright filters are automated, and overly sensitive.

If correct you can easy remonetis it, normally the second time around they see it is al good and accept it

Idea :!: .. If it is the Aesop Fable brand .... Mod the title ... 08sop Fable ..... Same sound bro! 8-)

And anyone smart enough to have heard of Aesop will also be clever enough to make the connection to 08sop :)

I put up a vid the other day, then had the message 'Copyrighted content detected', i DID challenge it, as i got it from Jamendo, but it was an entirely different name and artist than Utube claimed it was.
My personal opinion on COpyright, WAY TOOO FUKN SENSITIVE Utube!!!!
We arent making money off the backs of others (well im not), so relax!!

Oh i hate money, allways brings out the best in people/companies.
>:(

You know what really irritates me about the whole copyright BS. The same companies that bitch about people using their music on Youtube are the ones that own the tv channels who put Youtube videos on the news. I'm not sure if that happens everywhere but in the US most new shows use Youtube videos for filler. I seriously doubt they compensate the Youtubers. Hypocrites! :x

Yeah, it's BS. Prime example with bakerXderek recently.

Also, had a recent similar story. Tried to monetize my last video, YouTube said they needed more info. I provided written proof from the creator of the music linked to his SoundCloud page, and they said it wasn't enough. Messaged the guy back on SoundCloud, and asked him again, but I rephrased the question. Again, obviously he said I could use it to monetize my video. Responded to YouTube email, got really pissed off at them, attached essentially the same written proof, and they finally monetized the video.

I also had one of mine removed and no matter how many times I explained it was me, my bike, my camera, my voice they refused to accept it and cancelled it. I just redid the video in another format and uploaded it again and no problems? WTF?

That sounds great, cheers. Will use that.

But not sure it is the Aesop angle they have an issue with, as that is out of copyright anyway. All the video content is my own. Do they have an issue with photos of other people taken from your video? Can't see how, as every youtube video has content regarding third parties.

I have been using their own music downloadable from their creation tools, and it clearly states that music can be used in monetised videos, but they don't make it clear anywhere I can find how you are meant to label the music on the video.

It seems to also have come up since I linked my account through google+, so that may be another problem.

I have sent feedback to youtube asking them if I have been blackflagged by anyone, but my channle is in good standing on all aspects. So I'm a bit at a loss - it must be something to do with the music. But as my videos get so few views anyway, monetisation is not an issue - to me it is just a flag that something is being picked up by youtube and they are not happy about something - I just don't know what
