Your Merchandise.

Anyone doing any merch of any sort.

I know a few have stickers, but does anyone else do anything other than stickers.

I'm looking at doing some tee shirts....maybe.

I want to get some stickers made up, but I don't think my channel can justify more than that currently although in just 3.5 months I have almost as many subs as my other channel which has been going for 9yrs! :D

I also want to do some stickers but don't want to order 250 of them. Anyone know of a good cost-effective site to get a small-ish batch?

I guess worst case if you get too many you can mail them to subscribers for the cost of a stamp, eh?

My buddy who is in this line is setting up some merchandise for sale.. All the back end groundwork will be handled by him.. Target to launch will be next month, starting small as in local sales only till he sorts out how to handle international payments/shipping.

I've used sticker app in the past for small batches

In the UK I use a guy that runs http://vloggersmark.com/ he can also produce vinyl stickers / mugs / T-Shirts for you and other stuff at a very reasonable price and in small runs if need be.

Contact him here and just say what you want and he will give you a good deal.

Tell him I sent ya ;)
No I'm not on commission but he has done me some good deals and I like to spread the word.

Is it really worth it trying to create merch? I think it's fair to say most of us here too small to make it worth it.

Stickers are good, use them to swap with other vloggers. A lot of them have walls of fame that they show on their vlogs. It's fun advertising of each other. You will be surprised how many fans will want them too. I sold my first 100 batch out in 24hrs. But it will depend on the design of course!

I just need to know,

Why the heck would i want a @dandoolittle or @lupin etc on my bike? It doesnt make sense to me.
Yet all motovloggers seem to be doing it.
Is it really worth the effort to make?

What was this all about last year in the hidden section of the forum then? @Lurch will remember it

LOL busted!

I like the idea of swapping stickers but am not super excited about putting stickers on my bike (any stickers, really). I like the garage wall idea. I'd totally do that.
Or if you have a saddlebag, tank bag or top case. You can stick to that instead. That's what I did for the stickers Singaporean motovloggers that gave me theirs.

I welcome receiving stickers. I just think it's not worth my time to give out mine since I'm so small anyway. Trying so hard to brand myself is kind of pointless, it's not making me any money, why do I wanna push it like a business.

I do agree. I have 2 of mine on my bike and a couple on my helmet. I also have a big bag of them that I'll never use.

Was more interested to see if there is actually a market out there for anything other than back the f*ck up shirts.

I kinda just think it would be cool to have some made up..and if people ended up wanting them that would be a cool bonus. It's also an easy thing to give away or send to subscribers, or to send to other vloggers in hopes of a shout out.

We should totally set up a sticker/merch exchange were we agree to make videos about what we receive. Is that a thing? Has it been done?

Who says no to free stickers? Nobody says no to free stickers.

The way I go about it, I give them to those that ask for it, this shows me that they at least know of me, and perhaps support me, so I don't mind giving it to them. I don't go to events or meets and randomly start dishing out stickers to the people there, I think it's a waste giving stickers to people that don't even know about you. Some might say it's the way to get more people to check you out, yes that's quite true. However, I prefer to reward those that somehow manage to know of my existence than just spamming stickers randomly. What happens in turn is that those that get it and stick in on their bike, when questioned by their friends about the sticker, will promote the channel their friends who are most probably bikers as well, and so on. The other thing I want to point out is that I just make the logo and name, without the "youtube" or "subscribe" or other social media stuff.. Nobody wants to be a rolling advertisement board, but people appreciate a nice looking logo and wouldn't mind sticking it on their bike. That's why you see Monster Energy logo everywhere. :)

Alright I'm talking too much about the stickers, sorry.
