This bastard stole part of my vlog - totally my footage and edit, even included the music, which is also mine and copyright worldwide. Only thing he removed was my watermark. There is not a single thing about "his" upload that is not made by me - What a piece of work!

Maybe check through his list of vids and see if any belong to you - and if they do - report him. I have reported him and lots of other motovloggers have commented appropriately on his rip-off of my work.

The guy took it down himself, so YT notified me that had happened so my issue had been "dealt with" - guess I won't know if they gave him a "strike" - but his channel is still there. I will monitor it for other rip--offs and have already notified another channel that he used their stuff.

I see, i seriously didn't think you had the time to screen million of videos. Anyhow i think there will be always someone, but using the original content and basically only cropping it's something else!

His channel was taken down a few days later, he did reply to me something about not realising it wasn't ok to "share" vids this way... I explained to him (punctuated with some swearing) that uploading someone else's vid as your own was not "sharing"

I dislike thiefs, like why try to be someone your not. What really grinds my gears is the little fucks who say they served overseas or in general when they haven't even been enlisted, it's a insult to us that have taken the risk and done our part.

I've seen a few compilation vids, not just bike ones that use other clips and try to ise the disclaimer that it's fair use.

Not when you monetise, and it's polite to ask!

Yup, channel is terminated it looks like. I have had people steal my cars and coffee videos twice now, and my crash video has been stolen three times. I keep tabs on it, and if I find my content posted (or someone else tells me my content has been stolen) I take action immediately by flagging it. I don't waste time, don't give people chances. Create your own content, or don't do YouTube. And yes, if I ever find my crash video in a compilation, it will be flagged. Most of those compilation videos are monetized, and they are essentially making money on content I generated.
