He was threatening with a ban... wasn't impressed at all. Have to wait on the paper work.

It's a document about uniformly enforcing speed limits in different constabularies. Shows where discretion, education, points, court and bans sit when going over the limit.

We do have some, albeit 20mph zones, but they're near schools or in some residential areas, not seen any on more main roads.

Well the copper who did me was talking of a ban... it wasn't put through as an SP30.

I think you need some representation.

You were speeding on a road that at the time had no other hazards. You don't want a hit for anything heavy that could have a knock of effect.

A ban isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's what endorsement is given with it that can be as that persists. If you've got a cleanish history and are a person of good character then you might be able to get it steered to 6 points and a decent fine, you'll need to throw in the exceptional hardship thing.

There's that lawyer, Nick something that keeps getting Jay Kay off, he's got a website and you can get tailored advice from them as to how to pursue it.

Sometimes they just like to scare you.. its 50mph for a court summons, I know 45 isnt too far off but a ban seems a little excessive. hopefully its not too bad!

None, it goes on the radar and the officer operating it at the time. Annoyingly my speed cant be seen in the video so can not clarify it :-/
