Would you stop riding if . . .

No, biking plays too much of an important role in my life. Most of my friends are bikers and if I stopped, I'd probably lose them.

Either way, as other people have said, biking is an activity best shared. The solution is getting the OH involved :p

I've ridden bikes since before I knew Mrs Quack - to the point that when she first met me I was "the bloke on the bike". She always worries about me when I'm on the bike, but also knows that she has more chance of winning the cat-herding championships than she does of persuading me to stop.

I would get one anyways. If getting something that I enjoy doing makes her leave... then whatever man. She clearly isn't the right one for you. She should be supportive, and love you for you, bike or no bike.

That's just my teenage brain working.
