There is no such thing as too visible

Yes/No/Maybe?

I have been looking into something similar to that, but mostly orange leds for indicating and red leds for breaking.
Problem is you are either connected to your bike by wire or you need to find a steady (and affordable) wireless system.

Don't know if anybody here has any experience with stuff like that?

I do, I made it :) You can either connect it to your bike through a battery tender cable or you can connect it to a rechargeable battery pack with 12v dc output (which is what I do) and I keep it in my vest pocket. Right now you can set the colors to what ever you want, but they're all the same solid color.

That part i knew indeed, they can run on those big round battery's.
But the connecting with the indicator and brakes is what i was after ;)

I have seen those on jackets/bags (one of the two xD)

It's a gimmick that is sure to get you noticed. And probably get you the wrong kind of attention too (cops).

Besides, you can do anything and everything you want to, you are not going to stop that ding dong from texting while driving. You could be a semi with a million lights, they still won't see you.

True to that ;)

I like it, but especially if you have a mean son-of-a-bitch bike and an extremely mesomorph sculpted body. It will get you noticed, but not necessarily by other drivers. Cops should have no issue with it in reality, unless the electrics frazzle and start burning your head.

Unfortunately, I'm old, have a CB500X and not sculpted, so I think people would assume I was going through male menopause

As long as it's not flashing I can't see why not, it gives you one more way of getting seen during night. But it will probably look dumb during day with the ledbars showing and the wires.

Who cares, do what you want. I am 34 now, so hardly a young kid you see everywhere having a ball on YouTube. If anyone accuses me for being to old I'll just reply with: You'll be there too bud, and you hope you'll still have fun like you are now right?

For something fun around the block, maybe. As a full-time helmet for daily, nope. Interesting concept though.

Not for me, at least not everyday, or even regularly. Maybe I'd wear something like that for a big ride out or similar, but I'd have to give the bike and the rest of my gear the full "Tron" look to match. Couple of bikes and riders done up properly would look awesome riding through the Blackpool Illuminations (the downside, of course, being they'd have to ride through the Blackpool Illuminations)

I think at the expense of making myself visible that it would distract too many other motorists!

I ride quite a bit when it's dark outside because of work, so looking like a member of Daft Punk may not be a bad thing. It would have to be relatively inexpensive and easy to setup so when my brain is all fuzzy at 5am, I can still get it together.

Hell I turn 40 in two days people can say what they want. I get up and ride everyday and love every second of it.

These lights look cool, but I'd never use them because it's just more stuff to remember to charge.

I bought a roll of highly reflective tape to decorate my helmet with.

A helmet is available here (SOL) which is sold as GMAX outside , have 6 red LED on the rear with 4 different blinking combinations.
