Winter maintainace - Chain cleaning and lubing

Great video and music track. Chain tech has improved so much since the early 90s!

I remember just spraying the chain down with chain lube and then have that period of the desert heat making it want to fling off. Then grime stuck to the specs and the chrome rim looked like crud.

I do love my shafty V7, when I got my 390 KTM I had to remember how to do all this stuff again

I found it really helped when putting the chain lube/was onto a hot chain after a ride. It soaks in more I thought.

This is true, but couldn't get it hot in the snow . Even the manual calls for it if I'm not mistaken.

Haha yeh the snow issue. I forget because I don’t have that problem

The advantageof having a center stand. Just put a bit of wood under stand and prop the back end up. Got to save some cash

Considering I payed only $30 for the rear stand and $5 for the spools. I believe it is worth every cent .

Thats quite a good price. I have also been known to through a strap over the roof struts in a garage and hold it up. Part of my issue is my bike isn't all that common so it's a bit harder to find somthing that works 100%
