Why Do You Un-sub?

I just noticed my first 'Un-Sub' ! I know it happens and I am not stressin' but it got me thinking...Why do most people Un-Sub? Why do you Un-Sub from a channel?

For me, I will sub to a bunch of motovloggers all at once when I see new people in the comments, live hangouts or suggested channels. Then I will check out their content for while and see if they are for me and Un-Sub if not! Usually it is just personal preference and they are just not entertaining to me I suppose, but a few times it has been because of very poor audio (and mines not great so it has to be REAL bad lol) or very sloppy editing (long reoccurring unnecessary pauses etc).

What about you? How do you think the reasons for non-motovloggers would differ?

I un-sub when I get too much stuff in my feed. I'll select those that haven't posted anything good within their last couple of videos. This normally happens when I subscribe to those one-hit-wonder YouTubers.

It's also possible that the un-subber heard a single thing that may have been offensive to them. It's near impossible to not offend anyone.

Yeah I forgot to mention if someone repeatedly mentions something I find offensive I will un-sub usually but not a single instance like most people probably do lol :D

Even though it'd be annoying to some, YouTube could have a "why did you un-sub" question when hitting unsubscribe.

1. Not entertaining
2. Offensive
3. Poor video / audio quality
4. Misleading or poor content
5. Other

That would provide us more insight into the viewer's minds... like a psychopath... I mean telepath.

Not sure I have ever unsubbed anyone. Maybe because I'm a little more selective who I sub in the first place.

However as time goes on I am finding some channels changing and I barely watch thier stuff much.

I haven't un subbed anyone. I like to look at allot of videos they have before I subscribe. I don't take offense to much I have a really fucked up sense of humor.

I do mainly car videos, then I upload something else and people unsub. Ah well, I don't care about those people anyway. If you are on my channel you know that I can be all over the place. I can't even be called a full on motovlogger because I don't do it every week. Cars -> Bikes -> Random stuff. That's the order I suppose!

I think that kinda stuff makes a channel better. It gives a variety of things to watch not just talking.

Do note that sometimes a person may not have unsubbed. Some of them are extremely inactive accounts that Youtube has wiped away and thus, the sub to your channel.

I usually un-sub someone once I've lost interest in their work over a long period of time. Never un subbed a Motovlogger yet though.

Most common is because:
- Getting spammed by too frequent uploads
- Uploads stuff that is not of interest anymore

only reason id unsub to sum one is if there content turns crap over a period of time i would not un sub over 1 bad vid tho

I'm a fussy bugger so I can un-sub for many different reasons, such as:

- Annoying long intro
- Audio levels/wind noise being irritating
- Too many videos per week
- Too many people jumping on the same "topic of the week"
- Content too different to the original style I subscribed to

damn dude you are fussy lol

I am maybe a bit liberal when it comes to subbing in the first place. Usually I might not even watch one vid before subscribing (such as when a motovlogger I like mentions or features another channel). Sometimes it turns out that I'm just not that entertained by the channel. I am also more likely to unsub to channels that upload more than one vid per week, as that really just clogs up my feed
