Now tell me who is in the wrong.

If you notice in the comments i have commented alot and the biker is still saying he is right even when someone else has come on and told him your wrong, so i want your views and if you believe him to be wrong please help back me and cleartone2000 and comment on his video, maybe we could teach him how to use a roundabout like he claims so much he already knows how to do.

All the best.

Simon

P.S. sorry everyone but this guy is really getting to me ,yes i dont like cars but when your in the wrong you should just admit it not post it on youtube saying the car is wrong.

PPS : I have been informed that the biker in question is on here so please step forward sir.

Bike was in the wrong, the vehicle had a clear choice of lanes and was ahead of him in traffic, the vehicle maintained his straight direction in the lane and the bike tried to cross the vehicles lane. Bike is wrong, he should have been behind the vehicle in the other lane if he wanted to make a left turn.

Yes, this guy is on this forum.

To be honest with you guys, you can't see much in the video.

I'm not sure there is much of a need to get in an argument over this.

There is a hundred ways that it could have gone down differently. The easiest I can think of is SBS slowing down just a bit to pull in behind the car. No need to get my knickers in a twist about it though.

I am really not a fan of videos where motorcyclists point out bad driving and show the numberplate. They frustrate me to no end. There is no need to be upset, and there is no need for the video
That being said, I'm equally as frustrated by comment arguements over what could have gone differently.

Let it lie, both of you. You're both being a bit silly. Take a breath and move on.

While my goal is an attempted defusial of the situation, I imagine all hate will instead be directed at me. Egghh good enough.

Hey well, from what I saw. They were both wrong. Car in the wrong lane and bike should have changed lanes sooner. He could not do that however because of the car being in the way. Thats what I can see

The blue car isn't in the wrong lane, there are 2 lanes that both go straight and he's in the left one that goes straight, the bike is trying to cross 1 lane to get to another. Car just went straight because the lane he is in GOES straight.

black-rider you're in the wrong expecting us to back up a troll war. :P

Who cares?

I deal with this sort of crap in my biking life probably hourly... it makes poor viewing, (especially when it's a non-event like how I deal with them) and makes even worse commenting... even worse still is commenting about the commenting that wont be happening. :D

I say: On with decent viewing and decent conversation please! :)

They both appear to be in the wrong. The car was in lane for the A1400 and headed round to the A113, and vice versa the biker was in lane for the A113 and wanted to take the A1400.

I think it's poor form to cut straight across a 2 lane exit as the car did. It's reasonable to assume you can exit the island onto that road by joing either lanes 1 or 2. It pisses me off how people do this, and there is an island in Bromsgrove where this happens constantly and causes accidents.

If the road coming off the roundabout was single lane then the biker would be in the wrong - as it is (and it pains me to say it) I'd have to say it's 50-50 LEGALLY. As said, I still think it was poor positioning/lane choice from the car, though.

Anyways I know that roundabout well and that junction is a tough one if you are not familiar with the layout. It comes up on you quickly and many many people get it wrong and end up cutting up both sides of the lanes. Looks more like a mistake to me this one.
