Lets do this!
I use my bike daily to commute to work. Unfortunately there are not a lot of twists and turns on the way there. I do ride weekends up in the tiwsties. With that in mind, what tire would you choose?

Dunlop Roadsmart 2 Rear Tires
or
Michelin Pilot Road 4 Rear Tires

I would love to hear your opinions!

I just put a PR4 on my Ninja 650. I'm loving it so far. I also commute daily and am hoping it will last a little bit longer than the Dunlop that came stock.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Pilot Road 4, and that would be my choice out of the two. However, the Roadsmarts are also decent tires, and they are slightly cheaper. So it's really a toss up on how much you want to spend.

Rear tyres? I'd only ever pit the same type on both ends and not mix them.

I'm a big fan on the PR4, phenomenal in the wet.

I ride a harley but I just purchased new tires. I went with Pirelli Night Dragon tires. Pirelli seemed to have really good reviews for traction and life of the tire.

I have Michelin Pilot Road on my Honda CBF500 and they're amazing. Really noble, no strange things, durable, grippy, ...

Went with the Michelin Pilot Road 4 Rear Tire. I only got the rear because the front tire still looks brand new.

Done many many miles on the PR3's (4 wasnt avilable for my bike at the time) they are awesome but a bit too sticky on the HOT HOT days ;)

Went with the Michelin Pilot Road 4 Rear Tire. I only got the rear because the front tire still looks brand new.

I can now confirm that the PR4 works excellent in the rain. Went through a torrential downpour going to the Georgia Meetup on Saturday and didn't feel the first suggestion of unsteadiness.

Herd nothing but good things about michelin recently, But how do they compare with say diablo rosso's or the like? Just Curious

I recently replaced my PR3's with PR4's and have nothing but good things to say about the Pilot Roads. Would recommend many times over.

Yeah PR's are great tyres, had em on the three bikes I've had. After having shite ones on you appreciate the difference.
