FINALLY WE HAVE MIC AUDIO! How does it sound guys? I have 4 other mounting positions to try yet, this was top middle of my helmet so about as far from my mouth as I could get.

Not a bad sound to my ears. The wind noise with the visor open was too much though.

imah try a few other spots in the helmet and try making a dead cat to further dampen the wind

Good plan. Mic setup is a PITA. How do you rate the sony mic though? Im currently using the drift mic and not 100% happy with it. (Thinking noise cancelling would help)

I am pretty happy with the sony mic so far, it sounds pretty clean, I have only tried it in the one spot yet, but it seems to do the trick, plus it comes with a what i feel is just the right amount of cord. Im about to post another video from some go cart I did this weekend. Voice turned out well, even with the visor open. Still going to try to make a dead cat or something, and try some other mounting spots.
