Whats The Fastest You've Gone?

I had a v65 Magna 15 years ago after I got out of high school. That thing would keep hauling ass after the needle was pegged at 140, so who knows. My fatboy tops out at around 135

290 Kph on a modded gsxr 1000, when I was young and stupid, and I will never do that again, scared me sensible

130mph on the Old Fazer 600 on the Autobahn.

Felt like that was a bit weak so tried again on the Versys and only managed 115mph! Not because the bike didn't have it bit because the wind was insane! Fairings FTW!

About 145mph on a bike. About 150 in my 75 Ford Thunderbird. It was intense on the bike. Nuts in the car. A 75 T-Bird weighs about 6000 lbs and had a 460 motor with a big old Holley 4 barrel on top. I was racing my girlfriend who had a 75 Chevelle Malibu. Two really big, really LOUD cars screaming down the highway at 150. Good times.

As I am fairly new to riding (just over a year) I haven't gone 400kmph or anything but I have gone fast for me... I think.

Just curious what is the fastest you have all gone on your motorcycles?

Here is a few of my speed burst for fun (fastest in the day at the end)

Cant go too fast on my naked bike, think I've been at a 109...but the wind and stability was pretty bad.

can I post? Not a motorcycle since I don't ride those (yet) but on my ATV, about 75 MPH which is where it tops out.... going downhill haha.

On my snowmobile I've hit 105 MPH. Sketchy going that fast while offroad but huge adrenaline rush and super fun. That's about the limit on that as well, May be able to hit 110 MPH on a lake or something.

I never realized how fast snowmobiles were until I was watching a drag racing show on TV and there were a couple of snowmobiles doing like 9s in the quarter mile!

yeah a lot of people who don't rie don't realize just hoq quick they are. Top end isn't super insane unless you modify them, but it's all about how quick they get there!

really though, run the numbers it's not crazy when you think about it. my machine has about 150 Horsepower, weighs about 460 lbs (dry no rider) and has a 144" track for traction.

I actually have video of my 105 MPH run, looks like it's footage that has been sped up if you watch with no sound haha.

144" track? That's 12 feet!
well, that's the total length, not all of it touches the ground haha. a little less than half does.

but it's still a lot of track for traction.

Gotcha. in which case I have 53" rims on my bike ;)
haha it's just the way it's described when regarding what size the track is. because it's not exactly round, so you cant measure from top to bottom, and each sled will have a different amount on the ground even if its the same overall length.
