I miss my GSX650FU. Like @Dan, its about the memories, not the bike itself. Had lots of good rides on it, even though it was LAMS restricted, heavy and slow.

It almost pains me to say it because a lot of people blame their accidents on diesel, but it was infact diesel lol...

I was riding to work one day and tipped it into a bit of a sharp right hander - front wheel just washed away, nothing i could do.

was only going about 25mph, i reckon the bike would have been fine but it slid down the road and smacked one of those high level kerbs (sp?). kerbs dont budge lol.

yehh ive seen a few bikes be fine until they smash into the curbs

I instantly regretted selling my old Honda Transalp (XL600V PD06). It was terrible from a reliability perspective, many a time was spent sat in a lay-by waiting for it to cool down again after the cooling fan died for the umpteenth time. The brakes were terrible, all that weight and it only had a drum brake on the rear! There was JUST enough power for my commute, but only if you ragged it. It was like riding a really coumfy armchair though.

I had so many awesome experiences on that bike though to the point I really wouldn't mind getting another one. It was great for wrenching on but was not reliable enough as my only means of transport (hence I sold it). Would be cool to have as as a second bike though...

2004+ SV650 !!! . . It was my second bike and besides being ugly and lacking some power up top this was such a practical bike. It was cheap, cheap to maintain, the torque in the lower RPM was great. You could have it as a naked, full faring, have saddle bags if you wanted, have the S for the sporty look. I have been thinking about selling my ZX and going back.

Three bikes I really miss, RD350LC I had one of the first batch that came to the UK in 1980. ZXR400 1991... and my much loved and very much ridden ZX9R F2 :(

Since this is called the "bike" thread... and my current motorcycle is my first bike, I'll talk about this bike - a bicycle :p :...

The Giant Neo2:

...bought it in China around 2005... the average Chinese person couldn't really afford it. It was ¥1,500RMB (about a little under $187 at the time) and was the sexiest bicycle on the road :D . There was the Neo3 which had disk brakes (should have bought it instead ~_~), but this is the best bicycle, by far, that I've ever had. It still sits to this day unridden in my in-laws house :*( (I should have brought it back when airline fees were reasonable - $125 >< !!!)

The bike I miss the most would be my 2006 zx636r. It was stolen 9 months after I got it and I have never been able to replace it.....
