Whats The Best Time To Upload?

Hi all sorry very new to the vlogging community, (also sorry if this has already been talked about however couldn't find a previous thread)

I live in England and wanted to upload weekly videos on a Saturday. - Made easy now as can Schedule when you want a video to be loaded on youtube (date and time).

I am uploading on Saturdays as I get Fridays off; so can do all editing on the Friday then compress and download it onto youtube for the Saturday morning then schedule it for the Saturday afternoon whilst I'm at work.

Just wondering if, in terms of viewers, is Saturday a good day to upload?

Also is there a time that is more likely to get more views? - I know on twitter most people are on at 10pm English time - so thats the best time to tweet.

I used to use a programme called TubeBuddy (it stopped working on Firefox but may be ok now). It shows you detailed stats, including what time of the day and week that your videos get the most views and I believe it recommends the best day/time to upload your videos. The more videos you upload, the more useful the stats. You could give it a try.

I was going to suggest TubeBuddy as well. It works on Chrome. It gives a report of the view times and graphs it to show when your viewers are watching. IT's on eof the free features.

Welcome! I don't think the weekends are best as most people are out and about. I tend to do Monday for the main vlog and Thursday for shorts/specials

I've been meaning to work this out but I've been just doing everything on a Friday for a while now. Should see if it's working or not.

It's funny, i publish my videos on wednesdays at 1pm because websites say most people tend to watch videos and stuff at work around the middle of the week.

However I see my views surge more over the weekends instead.

I tend to aim for 5pm UK time on a weekday, people likely to be in.

Or when it's raining as most people are wusses

Works for summer, winter I just aim for 5/6pm on any day
