Whats The Best Bike (s) You've Owned?

Site owner, lovely and adorable
I was asked by someone about whats the best bike that I've owned. I'm not 100% sure to be honest but the last 5/6 have been the most fun, I guess since I don't 'have' to ride, I have a car for the crap weather etc.

So here goes:

Honda NC700 - Cheap as chips. The fake tank was awesome as I could charge a 13" laptop in it between meetings. I actually miss that bike but I wouldn't have one now.

Downside, it was gutless and the rev limiter was a nightmare but I did change the can which helped a lot

Honda CBR Fireblade

In my opinion. It was the best looking bike that I have ever owned. It was forgiving and people loved it. The bike was stolen form Romford Hospital in the UK. Seriously I was heart broken!

Although it was an animal (first owned 1000cc) it did let you get away with the odd cock up. I had a scorpion can on it, sounded crazy and people defo moved out of the way or knew I was coming

Sinnis Apache 125

I got this for a laugh as it cost nothing. It was gutless but I only used it during the winter and green lanes. It handled pretty well, but the motorways/a roads, it was shit!

Considering its a Chinese bike, it was built very well! It was loads and loads of fun and didn't let me once through a semi harsh winter!

Suzuki Srad 600

The bike that taught me ALOT! My first proper track bike that took me from novice to fast group etc. Loved it!

It was a pussy cat below 10k revs but wring its neck and it will keep up with newer, flashy bikes!

And when I say it taught me ALOT - I mean it!

Best bike I've owned at the time. Ducati 999. I still miss that clutch noise.

Current bike is the best bike by far with all its fancy fuel injection and stuff it just lacks a little soul.

Amazing looking bikes but the clutch sound. I just can't do it.

It had a strange appeal, and you get people asking you whats wrong with your bike.

The look they give when you tell them its meant to do that is priceless.

A guy did a track day with me once and in the garage I hated it, outside the garage it sounded awesome.

My current bike has been the best I ever owned. 2010 Speed triple - last of the round headlights. Power anywhere in the rev range and in any gear. Also a gentle creature when ridden nicely but she bites hard when she gets wound up!

I would say the one i own now as it looks cleaner and functions properly... However i did love my old 2003 ZX-6R and found it to be slightly more comfortable but a host of mechanical issues from a shit deal left me $1500 in the hole and with the current 2003 CBR600RR bellow is a screen shot from a video so not super clear but you get the idea... SEXY AF

The bike I own now is the best bike I've ever owned haha! before my GSR I had a chinese 250 and before that was a chinese 125 scooter...

I love the GSR, has some good speed to it, decent handling and good looks. I'm still on the upgrade path at the moment.

Yes it's a 50cc, had to sell it 5 years ago when I became a cager. Wasn't slow, wasn't fast, but it was pretty fun to ride around the hills or just ride to get somewhere. I miss this one.
My next bike will have to be a 50cc too because I can't have a big bike yet, but I doubt it will have the same value to me as this one.

By far and away my current machine is the best by an order of magnitude! 2016 Suzuki GSX-S1000

It's absolutely mental when you wind it up but it's very well behaved around town and that *sound*...

My favorite bike tends to be whatever bike I'm on at the time, but this bike I had for 10 years and it was awesome. Not a speedster, but it would do 110mph. It was super reliable, got decent gas mileage, was well-balanced and comfortable, both in the city and on long rides. It was also really cool looking and I got a lot of compliments on it. I still wish I could have afforded 2 bikes and been able to keep it. This vid was from when I pu tit up for sale. You can tell I still really loved it! It's a 2004 Triumph America (with some extras!)

The best bike I've owned was probably my WR450F. It wasn't the right bike for my kind of riding though, and I had to sell it. But I miss it! It was a beast of a bike and I regret selling it, even though it was the right decision at the time.

My DR650 I have now is by far the "most-right" bike for me, even though technically not as "good" as the WR was. It's the bike I've bonded with the most. I've had it the longest, rode it the farthest, saw the most, and learned the most from it. So while I miss the WR, I would not sell the DR to buy another one.

And then just because it's pretty, the best looking bike I've owned (excuse the ugly driveway)
