If only there were some C4 adverts so I knew where to buy it. I'm could destroy my kitchen and build the affordable new one I saw in an advert.

Because we have busy lives. I just spent an hour or so removing the posters. I don't really see a point in deleting the posts themselves, just makes the process take longer.
I understand that everyone is busy, I am busy myself all the time. So maybe the site should put on a few more mods in that case? I am sure that there must be a few other responsible members who would like to put in some time to keep the place clean?
Really? You don't see the point in deleting them? I see them as making the place look crap to those people who are new here, maybe scrolling through the posts to see if it is a site worth joining.
If they see posts all over that are clearly spam, they may choose not to join the community here. That's my thinking anyway.

Or it could work the other way. IE: some biker dude is browsing the net for kitchen things in the UK, motovlog comes up in the suggestions because of the spam posts for kitchens, then the guy gets pulled into the motovlog site and forgets all about searching for that new kitchen.
I have to admit however it is quite annoying when the recent topics are filled with crap I dont want to see.

The reason I care so much about this topic is that I really enjoy this site and being a website owner that used to have a very large and extremely active forum on it, we would be bombarded with spam posts every day. We just automatically deleted the posts and their accounts. We had a filter though, so that user's each first post had to be approved by admin before the user could post again. This meant that 99% of the spam posts were never seen by the community.

All you guys need it the Anti-Spam Mod and it will have One Click Ban and it will ban them and delete all there post from that user name i have it on my site its the best mod to have and also if you dont have alot of time to delete all the post from the spam ..i would just lock the post so no one else can reply to it.. and come back later a delete them....here a pic from my forum show you what it looks like.....
Or you guys can make a post for all the members to read and in ask them if they see any spam not to reply to it..IMO
it will show you something like this....

I think that is a great idea. Most spammers are not going to want to do multiple posts in order to post their links so they will likely go elsewhere to do it.
And most genuine posters are not going to mind having to go through a probationary period first. Many online forums do this and it is pretty acceptable I think.

It's kinda tricky though, new users might want to post a link to their channels or embed the video here for other users to watch.
I think a very useful feature would be to add something like a tooltip or, I don't know, a yellow square with text on top of the new thread thing to put your text ehhmmm, wait. Will get a pic, cannot explain this right now, my brain is overloaded.

I see what you're saying but on the other hand
Someone who just signs up to post videos, isn't that also a spammer? Really if you think about it?
They sign up to gain something, not give right?
