What Memory Cards Are You Using?

Hey guys n gals.

I'm using a Ghost S and I'm trying out these Sandisk Ultra 32gb class 10's but for some reason there seems to be some lag sometimes whilst recording. it's a rarity but it gives me jip saying the cards too slow :S

I bought a 64gb version before and it just didn't work at all.

Any recommendations on what you peeps use?

Formatting them via the camera itself.

And as far as I'm aware they are genuine but how do you know nowadays. Maybe I should change the source that I am buying them from.

How about swap out with someone else's for a week. Or from a different device you use memory cards in. I had that issue (okay mine was that the camera would stop recording in 10 seconds), and I swapped it out with my phone's 32GB memory card. Problem solved
 
64gb samsung evo+

Never had much of an issue with them and I got it dirt cheap from best buy(I think they priced it wrong cause it was cheaper than the 32gb version)

I bought mine from Amazon themselves. There are fake ones about though.
 
Also search Roadcraft Nottingham for "Drift Freezing". He ended up formatting his in the camera, but using the PC (right click, format cam as external drive)
 
Currently formatting the card via the computer... nice full version not quick, also ordered a 64gb sandisk extreme. See how that goes. Would save having to mess around changing cards too on a long ride out. :)

Would have thought though after this amount of time having the Ghost S available there might be a patch or 2... but nada. :S Nothing's that perfect :p

According to their site that's the only one that's available. For the Ghost S anyway

and god this formats taking like a year :S Wanna just get out and ride... come on!!!! :P
 
SanDisk Ultra Micro SDHC UHS-I/Class 10. I have 4 of them that I swap between my GoPro and Sena 10C. I pull the vids every evening, and format them after they are pulled. The formatting takes only seconds, so not sure what is up with yours.

Considering how volatile this memory is, always have a backup card, just in case. Don't skimp, the cost difference is not worth it.
 
Was doing a full format and that took bloody ages.. the quick one takes a few seconds though, but after todays ride I had no issue at all with it :) hopefully it'll stay that way.
 
I have the SanDisk Ultra 32GB class 10 card in mine. I have had issues when recording in 60fps, but nothing so far in 30fps. I have formatted the card with the camera only though. Will format it through the pc today and see if that improves things.
