What Kind Of Bikers Do You And Don't You Wave / Nod / Acknowledge On The Road?

I'll wave to anyone, although not "chavs" on scooters as they never wave back. Most scoot riders don't seem to get the nodding thing, as don't quite a few 125ers.

I nod to everyone, except for the people who are obviously only using the cheapest form of transport available to them and aren't really "bikers". Unfortunately that means I never get the nod back, because there are only GS and scooter riders where I live, and neither has any interest in nodding back.

I don't know why, I just don't nod at them. I think its because a lot of people on them don't ride for the fun of it, just as a cheap commuting vehicle

Usually wave to everyone, although by wave, I mean the two finger at the ground thing.... I don't usually do it to scooters or three wheeled cycles, they just don't get it... And usually don't wave back. Some Harley riders won't wave at me, but oh well. =p

A lot of Harley riders do that thing where they pretend not to see you. I guess having an "American" bike with 30-40% foreign made parts makes you a badass.

The Harley riders here are a little reluctant (or slow) but eventually give the salute too.

I do the 2-finger salute (palm out not toward me). Pretty much anything with 2 wheels and a motor. Sometimes not if I'm going into a turn or it looks like the other guy is trying to concentrate.

I nod at everyone, but not all nod back! i find sports bike the best for returning a nod. But why do we nod? is it because we pass everyone on the right so cant take our right hand off the throttle, where as in europe they pass on the left so can raise their left hand off the bar??!!
