What Have You Done To Your Bike Today?

I'm stealing this idea from another forum, because I feel as if it creates nice conversation and the occasional post from time to time.

The concept is simple...do something to your bike today and want to share? Post it here. For example: I changed the oil today / gave the bike a nice wash / I beat my girl up on some back roads. Anything will do. Have a picture? then post that as well!

Doesn't have to be something you did that exact day, could be a few days old.

I will start:




I changed out the spark plugs on my F4i because the bike randomly did not want to start anymore. Now it's running much better.

The plugs looked like this. I believe it's because the previous owner did not take the bike out much, and only let it idle in the garage all the time.

Today I gave my bike it's Sunday wash and tried to find out why the speedo isn't working. The cable seems ok so it could be the speedo drive which I'll have to take the wheel off to check, boo hiss.

Yeah I use it for work and the councils around here have been putting a ridiculous amount of salt on the roads, so I've got to wash it regularly to stop it rusting

I wiped her down, applied some ACF-50 and lubed her chain.... Nothing says I love you to your girl more than keeping her moist

I decided to put the baffle back in my bike, ended up falling into the exhaust & down the link pipe. So spent a hour removing the exhaust, when it should have been a 30second job.

Will be doing a service to the bike later in the month before the good weather arrives so I'll get some pictures.

Spark plugs deffo need changing. hehe.
