What Do You Carry With You.

The little bit of room I have was taken up by my power commander.

I have a small plastic box in it that has some cash, spare battery for the drift and some ear plugs.

If I go anywhere further I've normally got a backpack on anyway.

I have waterproofs, stickers (usually), sometimes a pair of trainers and a fleece, spare gloves, tool kit, puncture kit, sweater, selfie stick when I remember it. Fit loads in mine! :)

I always bring a backpack, inside is usually a spare battery for charging my electronics. Also gopro stuff and rain slicks.

I usually have my backpack on, which has a bottle of water and waterproofs in it. As well as a heavy duty chain, some muc off and my glasses [in case my contact lenses get painful]. Longer journeys, I'll have a spare battery in there too.
Under my seat is just a disc lock, in the event that I don't have my rucksack with me.

Naturally, I always have a phone on me, as well as my camera (:

Underseat: Puncture repair kit and basic tool set and spare bulb.
Backpack: Water, spare bulb (yes again as have two at the moment), disc lock, gps unit, phone.
Jacket: Wallet n Keys
Helmet: Camera and mic ;)

Everyday kit: Flashlight, multi-tool, zip-ties, tool roll, various straps, chargers, zip lock bags
Touring kit: All of the above plus, rain gear, radar detector, GPS, first aid kit, cover, chain lock, a lot of unecassary camera equipment

Cable ties, ziplock bags to keep my electronics dry in an unexpected downpour, enough tools to do the basics, first-aid kit, bicycle lock, bicycle pump, can of tyre weld/foam inflator

Great post. Very basic tools, tire gauge, money clip, insurance card, AAA card, debit card, phone, glucometer/insulin and a small bag of Skittles (the curse of a type 1 diabetic).

You didn't define if you were referring to daily items carried when commuting, or items carried for weekend rides, or long distance travelling.

If just daily commute, just the essentials - wallet (cash+license+road tax), handphone, house keys. Unless planning on picking something up, then backpack tags along for the ride.

It's going to be more or less the same for other type of rides, just that for longer distance ones we would usually have a larger bag/panniers/etc which then allows us to carry more emergency stuff, like a tire puncture repair kit, lube, cable ties, tape, tool kit, etc.

If you have good space under your seat, always good to have a tire puncture repair kit, cable ties, a small tool-kit (bikes usually have them), and some electrical tape, if you have more space you can get creative to prepare against more potential fault/failures a bike might encounter while on the road.

On me,
Phone, Wallet, licence and house keys
On the bike, Spare fuses (20amp or more, incase), Flat and phillips head screw drivers, Needle nose pliers and allen keys

It's a little bit unfair with the amount of space I have, more of a case of what I don't carry ...

The old cbr250rr has quite a bit of space in the back compared to most newer bikes, that being said i usually travel pretty light.
Wallet, phone, keys in the jacket and the toolkit in the back.
