What Camera Do You Use?

I'm all for gopro, I don't like seeing the helmet in the FOV. Center mount (Chin or in my case Visor) is best IMO.

Because this is....just..gross

I prefer this

I used to have my camera on top too. But as well as feeling like I'm 1000' tall (I'm 6'4 so put that with a wide angle lens and I'm like a walking CCTV pylon) I kept smashing the camera on doorframes. So I went for midway between the top and the side. The helmet is only on the very bottom corner of my videos, and I haven't scratched the lens on low flying aircraft for ages!

I also use GoPro. Even though I would like to have center view as an option, I don't have the space on my chin bar, so I use side view. However, for the side view I would much rather have the Drift since it sticks out much less. I usually don't mind the helmet in view--I prefer it usually.

I haven't even uploaded my first vlog yet, why am I even here?

I find your logo familiar. I saw it before. Not sure where.
Not sure either. I am in the middle of trying to define a brand and logo for my upstart company. Over the last 6 months, it has gone through 3 major changes and this version has gone through 2 minor changes. I believe it is close to what we are about. If you do find where you last saw something similar send me a message. I have to make sure I am not a copy-cat.

Looked at side by side videos, my favorite was consistently the gopro.
I don’t have a motorcycle yet, but I am using the ROAM v.1. I bought it because it was the lowest price of the 3 top competitors at the time (2012) and because of its physical attributes (attached on the side, low frontal profile). It is currently my test bed for a product that I am working on, an aftermarket external mic for all Contour cameras.

I don't have space on mine but managed to rig a chin mount still. Get creative!

I was more thinking sticking the pad on the side, close to the chin, and using extended arms to reach the chin. That works too though for low speeds.
Well, it's more of for people with not enough room for it on the plastic. My Airmada has a camera pad on the chin with dual lock that works nicely.

Found it, not the same but similar.

I use the Drift cause I think its a bit more compact on the side of my helmet compared to the Hero. No complaints so far!

i'm using an ion air pro. they were pretty cheap on amazon, and i feel like it gets a good enough picture for me. i only have $100 in my setup and i feel like that's good for where i'm at in my motovlogging career (nowhere) i like the ion and i'll probably stick with this company in the future.

I was extremely interested in them, but shied away because of the plug system they use. They didn't have any in the local retailer (walmarT) and I'm too impatient to order stuff online.
