What Bike do you ride?

2011 BMW R1200GS (Frankie), I got her at just under a year old for a huge bargin, she's an ex off rode riding skills bike and BMW replace the bikes every year

a couple of reasons, I love the boxer engine, always have (ever since my uncle took me on the back of his old BMW when I was a kid) also I am a big fan of 2 wheeled BMWs. I like big vehicles and I like go anywhere vehicles. Lastly ever since I watched the long way round/down I wanted one. She has not dissapointed :D

Fair point. I would like to get a Triumph Tiger one day

I was looking at Tigers because I didnt think I would be able to afford a BMW but then I got an insane deal on mine and jumped at it. R1200GS, less than a year old, quite a few mods, only light cosmetic damage (pretty much all gone now), 2.5k on the clock... £6k, it would have been rude not to

O.o that is a good deal! My ER6f was about £6.5k...

Juts up-graded from my Piaggio Fly 125 to a 2010 Vespa GTV 300ie. Well happy. Virago 535 sat in garage, likely to be put up for sale beginning of March
Congratulations!.. certainly enjoying my GTS 300ie. Nice ride today, 18c and clear, sunny sky in North Florida.

I got home from work and started putting sand out on the road. It's -3C, and I really need a clear patyh from the garage along my little back road. No idea if it will work, but here's hoping it keeps the ice away tomorrow.

Currently ZX-6R. Photo is in the photo thread. First sportsbike. Previous were nakeds. ER6n and Z1000. Wanted to have experience riding sportsbike, definitely uses more muscles than a naked. I consider it my workout, cause I'm a lazy @$$ that hates to exercise. :P

gave her a clean, still waiting on its pipe

I have recently traded up from a CBF600 to a GSX 1250 FA. Needed a bike that could take a lot of miles...doing 1500 a month approx. just commuting. Also fancied something with a bit more torque and wanted to go for a faired bike aswell. The GSX for its size could not be beaten on price and overall sports tourer reviews where good, admittedly its not the best in class but the overall package of durability, price and power meant I had to give it a try...my old cbf 600 had reached 60,000 and was getting a bit tired...actually wish I had not traded her in now as only got 500 quid. Could have still been a good tack day bike o_O

I ride a cheap Chinese scooter. Got it because it's cheap and I am a student. I really can't afford something big right now.
Found it for 500€ with less than 15k km. Not worth having those bikes really but if you are a DIY guy , you can really save a lot of money on pretty much everything.

I ride a Honda PCX 125 (2015).

When I first had the idea of getting a motorbike, I was looking at manual 125s- Honda CBF or Yamaha YBR. But it soon became clear that a scooter was the way to go for me. My riding is 100% in London, and there is no joy in riding a manual 125 here. Also the underseat storage makes all the difference for me.

Maybe one day I'll jump on a Fireblade or a Ninja, but for now, this is absolutely perfect for me. And it looks sexy too ;) when I can post pictures I'll put one up here.

I ride an orange 2009 Suzuki V-Strom 650. Being my first road bike, it is probably the most practical bike I could have gotten for what I intend to use it for. If i had of had it any other way.... It would have been the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer (FJ-09) but that bike isn't released in OZ yet :(

One day... :D

Cheers,
MotoHAWKY

I ride a 2006 DRZ-400sm. I live in South Florida, and none of my commuting is on the highway, so I figured it would be a fun bike to ride around on. 85% street 15% dirt.
