What Bike do you ride?

I bought a '01 Fazer 600 last year after I stayed with a mate to work with him for 2 weeks and riding pillion with him to work every day. It'd been 5 years since I'd had a bike and I just NEEEDED to get one again.

When I first got my license, the first Fazer was still a new bike and it was top of it's own tree so it was the bike I wanted but could never afford. So 13 years on, I got a tatty one super cheap, restored it to a pretty good condition and started living the dream!

It was a great choice as it'll do most things, plus I'm pretty big so it's about as sporty as I could deal with in terms of physical size. Economical, pretty quick, great for the commute, piles of fun on a track day (showed my mate on his Triumph Daytona my rear tyre for most of the day) and clunky Star Wars styling, just like me...

BUT, due to the relocation to Germany, the Fazer had to go so now I have something a bit bigger, a bit newer, a bit louder, with Fuel injection, 2 fewer cylinders but with a bit more torque. I'm waiting to reveal in the video series so lips are sealed right now. Welcome to guess though.

Ducati Hypermotard 796- Why? Cause it's the perfect urban tool.

Victory Vegas 8ball- It satisfies my cruiser needs. Sometimes I just want to wear a half helmet, no vlogging and just ride.

So what bikes do you all ride, and more importantly, why did you choose them? Was it because of the kind of roads you ride, the riding you do, were you influenced by advertising, peer recommendations, moto gp, or did you just go...

ooooh I want that bike, I'd sell my soul to own it :)

Rebel 250 .... Decided I wanted a cruiser but needed something that would be easy to learn on. Love the look of the rebel and went to sit on a couple and knew I had found the bike I wanted.

I choose the Honda MSX/GROM for 2 reasons.

1- Small bike because I never driven a motorcycle before, and wanted to have confidence that I could put two feet on the ground lol
2- Fuel economy :D

And the potential for world destroying noise too! Have you seen Royal Jordanians latest video? Full Akro system with no baffles.

Ah, this explains your twin comment in another thread. You confused me as I'd seen the fazer in your videos.

Yeah, it was a sad and tough decision. I loved that Fazer. But, I needed physically bigger, and thought that while i was at it I may as well get something with a bit more grunt.

2014 street Glide in vivid black. Only a couple of toys so far highway pegs, backrest and taller windshield.

I tend to swap bikes more than I should. Currently I am just riding my SYM CityCom 300i Scooter. It's beyond cheap to ride and amazingly fun. It also is more capable than people would think. THough I know it will probabaly be swapped out in a couple years for...who knows.

Here is my ongoing bike list (all sold off to get the next) and mileage I put on them...

2001 Yamaha Virago 250 (12,000 km)

1981 Kawasaki KZ305LTD (6,000 km)

2004 Suzuki DR650 (50,000 km)

2004 Suzuki DL650 VStrom (70,000km)

1979 Suzuki SP370 (3,000 km)

2001 Yamaha Zuma 50cc Scooter (2,000 km)

2004 Kawasaki Super Sherpa 250cc (2,000 km)

2009 Sym CityCom 300i (Current Ride 9,500km)

Ducati Monster 900, 2001. It is my first bike, so i didn`t want a bike that is to much overpowered or too expensive.

Here's mine
