ya it looks to much like a car for me. and I am not willing to give up my sport bike but my father on the other hand is looking into trading his motorbike in and buying one of these as they are only priced around $21,000-$28,000 Canadian.

While it is quite cool-looking and I'd love to get into one, I would not class it a motorcycle. It resembles a (sexy) kart that's missing a wheel more than anything. Maybe it's the helmets and need for protective gear that make them class it as such.

In the UK we have separate classifications for three wheeled cars and trikes. The three wheel scooters (twin wheel st the front) can be driven on a car licence IF it has a foot operated brake, and the front wheels are a certain distance apart. Couple more criteria than that, but I can't remember off-hand.

no in Canda anything with 2 or 3 wheels is classed under a class 6 (Motorycle)

yep np. I find it really stupid but they have a cc range on the class 6. if it is 50cc or lower you dont need class 6 if it is higher than 50cc you do need your class 6. So I guess my 750cc is over lmao. insurance for a 1994 750cc sport motorcycle in alberta,canada for a 17-18 year old with a good driving record and driving courses done is $66 a month.

I think it's fun but you have all the disadvantages of a bike (cold, noise,...) and a car (can't filter, too big to wheelie
, ...).

I would give it a try as it will pull 1G in a corner. And it will do burn outs in 1 to 3 gear. It is a 5 gear transmission. And your ass is only 5inchs from the pavement

iiiiiiiiiiits a car. if it had handlebars and a middle positioned seat, i could see it being a 'motorcycle' similar to the can-ams. this, however, is a car, plain and simple. steering wheel. side by side bucket seats with three way harnesses. car like windshield. car like bonnet and front fascia. roll bars (or whatever that's called behind their helmet). i don't know where they got the idea to try and market it as a motorcycle. last i heard it failed that classifications in the US. it's kind of annoying because it shares zero handling attributes to a motorcycle. if they redesigned it slightly, they could make it a no helmet car similar to the ariel atom.
having said that, i kinda want one. they look fun as shit! I watched a review from the smoking tire on youtube and it looks pretty damn quick. If i were going to get one, i'd wait for a second or third gen version so they have a little more time to iron out the bugs. either that or save up a load extra for modifications. I don't tink this would get you a motorcycle type thrill, but i think it would still be fun.
