What Archiving Schemes Do You Use For Footage?

It's great if you like the NSA reading all of your personal stuff while transferring (not to mention transfer times). I'll never trust the cloud just because there are so many middlemen out there between your computer and their server

Well, for vlog storage, that you upload to the public anyway...
I'm not sure that the NSA/GCHQ would find anything in your data that they don't already know about somehow.
Thing that concerns me about Dropbox, I shared a 12 second clip from my Drift demonstrating my audio problem via DB. When played back from the public folder, you couldn't hear the noise as it had compressed the hell out of it, however YouTube, for all it's faults, kept the sound faithfully.

hah! I wonder what the numbers now are like 
~...it's not really video files that worry me, it's stuff like personal files, photos, etc. that bug me
. I mean, who doesn't want to keep big brother a little more out of their personal lives ?... but then again, when it comes to commercialization Pete, they're not any better .What a groovy end of the stick we get now-a-days ~_~ .....

i don t record daily. i have kept all raw footage and rendered videos so far. once the 1 TB HDD is full i will start deleting. whats the point of keeping all 
who even has the time to look through it all.
lets say i have a 30 min vid and i edit a 10 min vlog from it.
but there is something worth keeping in it that i hadn t used like a nice car driving past. then i render that 20 sec piece. no point keeping the whole 30 min raw file

I keep finished products of course, as for videos, it depends if it's impo footage then it will be save, but if it's everda footage then off to the recycle bin it goes.

I just keep the raw footage stored in the files that are used when editing, after my first season I will delete all of it and archive just the Vlogs
