Rain doesn't bug me. That's what good rain gear is for! I've done 300 miles+ in the rain.
I try to avoid riding in the city so I tend to avoid getting stuck behind busses and things like that; but tailgaters sure are a pain. And as someone else mentioned, they tailgate you, you let them pass, and then they drive slower than you were before!
Another big pet peeve out here is people going over the line. It's not that they can't; they just won't make the corner. Too lazy. They'll just make wide sweeping turns several feet over the yellow line!
BUT; my NUMBER ONE pet peeve? CIGARETTE BUTTS!
I dunno why, that one just drives me nuts! When I see sparks fly when people toss their cigarettes out the window. WHY oh WHY can't you just keep them in the ash tray in your car and dispose of them elsewhere? I've been hit by them before, plus it's just nasty. Not to mention, that's likely someones yard you're tossing that garbage into! For a short while I lived in a house off of a somewhat-traveled road. The lawn near the road was always full of litter, mostly cigarette butts. It's even a big cause of forest fires out here! Nasty, nasty stuff. It's a $1,000 fine if you're caught but, evidently folks are never caught because they just don't care!
I guess it just irks me so much because it's so simple. I mean, bottom line; if you're tossing them out the window you're a pig! What if I come throw trash in YOUR face or in YOUR yard! LOL
So that's mine!
