The wise helmet manufacturers should start having integrated cameras in their helmet models, just like how cars are having integrated dash cams in some of their models. Primarily for insurance purposes, but nonetheless can be used for other recordings. Advancement in camera and recording technologies is pretty good enough for some seamless integration.

Hope more manufacturers will take on this idea, maybe some partnership with GoPro would be sweet.

I think that would be the thing that pushes it into real popularity. If they worked out a deal with Drift or Gopro with a cam that integrated into the helmet and could be upgraded later people would be all over it. Since a helmet is typically good for 5 years or so, they would still be able to make occasional changes to the design.
