Made a new mistake today, when mounting the camera on a pillion peg for some sweet shifter action. Make sure the camera sticks out far enough.

A couple of months ago I was doing a test ride vlog on the Yamaha MT-09/FZ-09. +2h of great footage ready to edit. Got home, put the sd cards on the table and instead of uploading them on to my laptop like I always do after I finish a vlog... I went outside with my kid. When I got back home, I totally forgot that I didn't upload the footage from the sd cards. The next day instead of editing, my buddy talked me into a ride, so I decided to record it. When I deleted the footage from the first SD card (to make room for the next vlog obviously) I suddenly thought that I really don't remember uploading anything from them onto my laptop. Checked the folders... yep... half of the footage was deleted. Tried some retrieving software, all that computer voodoo. Got some footage back (which was pretty amazing), but not enough to make a good review on the bike. Long story short, I hooked up with the guys from the Yamaha dealership and got the MT-09 for a whole day when I told them this exact story, and the footage came up even better. BUT, I still consider this my biggest vlogging fail to this day :D

Just dealing with a replacement laptop issue and some lag problems with Premiere Pro. It’s surprising how your creative energy gets dampened when something goes wrong, especially if you can’t go forward, or if you’ve lost something.

100% agree, the camera and audio issues I've been having recently have really knocked my mojo, am adapting and overcoming the issues though so all good now (I hope)

2. Thought I had charged the cameras but hasnt so got feck all footage of some great bikes

3. Mistaking deleted the footage onthe camera before getting to editing

4. Buggered up mic

These were in the old days. This season I have done 40 videos without incident. I feel I have now locked this down tight.

All this deleting talk reminds me. This summer I went on an island, during my vacation. Rode some nice roads and wanted to do a timelapse. Apparently I forgot to delete previous days footage and ran out of space on memory card. Only noticed when I was way past the great roads.

A couple months ago... comming back home, It started to rain and i had the camera with the skeleton case, so i put it in a safe/dry place (obviously wasn´t recording) and that day i witnessed:
1.- a car hitting a the rear wheel of a bike,
2.-a car with 4 four clowns (literally 4 clowns) chasing a bus whose hit one of their mirrors,
3.-and my missed favorite one: being at a red light, two kids slipping over a puddle almost at the same time. :( Since then i understood that destiny doesn´t want me to have clickbait
