Hi,

Quick question here about the Veho Muvi 1080p Camera kit!

The company I work for has just started stocking the full package which reatils at around £200 and I can pick one up for £101

Question is, are they any good in relation to drift etc and is it worth the money (I can also get the Atom for £40ish)

From what I've seen of those cameras the audio is really sketchy, the video isn't too bad but suffers from bad exposure and slow frame rate glitches.

Thanks for the response, I read a couple of reviews last night and the other opinions are the same regarding sound (and no ext mic option).

I suppose I had better start looking at other, more expensive, options

I got a drift stealth, refurbished by action cameras, for £70

No box, but did come with mounts, battery, remote and velcro. Extremecamerasuk on amazon.

i heard the Muvi cams are B grade clones, nothing more.

Getting one to play with in work won't be a problem, however trying it on the road will be.

The package for the 1080p looks impressive and has literally everything included (and we are stocking all the accesories etc) and it doesn't appear B-Graded.

I followed 'thenovice' and just secured a drift x170 from extreme cameras for £35...

I don't need HD as I am just starting out, and for £35 how bad can it be.

The Muvi's look like a good package for the price, but I really prefer a bullet style camera

Veho Muvi HD cams are ALMOST as good as the GoPro and Stealth etc, but for about 1/3 of the price.

Audio isn't as good as them, but the Veho's are smaller, lighter, have longer battery life, record to a micro SD card and do have a lot of advantages.

In comparison, they're an absolute bargain for the money. But they're not perfect.

I've been using one for about 2.5 years for daily use with no problems whatsoever (compare that to ANY of the £300+ cams), and I just bought a replacement that I need to be as reliable for daily use all year round.
