Upload button broken!! :@

OK so i am trying to upload a video, and the upload button is grayed out. When i click it, it pops up the select video so i select a video click open/upload and nothing happens. Google has not shown me any fixes for this. making me frustrated.
 
Thanks ginge biker, im hoping this works, it will be annoying not being able to look at the status or even tell if its being uploaded.

To the other suggestions. Those are the first things i tried and checked. I also just reformatted my PC that i just built for other reasons and that didn't even fix it so its a google/youtube error

I'd say -all- evidence points to it being a problem with your computer, whether you just built it or not. Though it makes perfect sense you'd think that because -no- one else is having a problem that it couldn't possibly be you, it HAS to be the site. :P I just tried to upload something, btw, and it worked perfectly.

The same thing happened to me a while back after a java update, it changed something and I couldn't upload for a few days, then it mysteriously went away without another java update happening. Was rather strange and pretty annoying.
 
tried it in mozilla chrome IE9 opera all of them had the same issue, but it doesnt matter gingebikers method worked, it actually upload you just don't have progress bar
 
This problem has hit me now too. No progression bar or any indication that video is being uploaded.

But if I open another tab and goto my videos I can see the upload but not a progression.
 
I started uploadingin safari... wasn't working.. so I tried Chrome... and it wasn't working (from what I could see...

I didn't close the windows and came back later and one of them was showing progress in the video manager...

I didn't close any windows and I've looks half an hour later and 2 videos are uploading... I don't know which one is from what browser... I don't want to close the wrong window!?!?!

AAHHH... shoot my foot!
 
Now it's doing the same for me too. YouTube has been doing work on their java codes lately, (anyone else notice the preview window that shows up in the seek bar??) and it would seem that someone left a few lines out. Wonder how long it will take them to get it figured out...
 
Click upload, select file. The page wont change. Open another tab and check video manager. Video should be prossesing. Dont close the first tab until you see a thumbnail for the video in the second tab. Then edit tags, title etc.

Precisely. I went into the manager and set the vid to unlisted until I knew for a fact that it worked properly. Seemed to have uploaded a little faster than normal too. :)
