Unusable footage <grrrr>

About an hours worth of footage today unusable as my mic was in such a position that my voice is too distorted. Bloody frustrating. I need to work out the best position and stick with it.

Today I had the mic attached to the left hand flap of my foggymask but it was pushed into my cheek. Yesterday I had it more in front of my mouth attached to the bottom/front of the foggymask. Ah well live and learn though it's frustrating as work now stops me re-shooting the topics I covered until next weekend.

Don't worry about it too much, that sort of thing has happened to me a lot before. It's just a case of trial and error.

Ihad that problem alot when I was vlogging with my cell phone and the hands free mic it came with. Had to wrap it in a peice of a sock. Even then it was hit and miss and mostly miss.....

It's just a case of trial and error.

Every vlogger has had this, I had my GoPro on the outside of my helmet and then recorded my words.

I then choose to record without a mic which was pointless.

Now I think I've got it set by putting it inside my helmet and it does both.
