There is nothing here to troll about because clearly, there was nothing you could have done to save it. Had you decided to go straight over that side walk, you'd have flipped and ended up on the part of the road with tons of cars going on it at speed.

Once you got your tires on that oily bit (right on it) they were full of oil so braking and / or turning would have given the same results.

It's just a good thing that you didn't hang on to the bike like mad otherwise you'd have hurt yourself. Best thing to do in these situations is just let loose.

wow that sucks, hope you heal up soon! Cant you like complain to like your local council (or state person? im not sure how it works in america) and they may offer to pay damages or somthing...

Just finished checking the bike and there does not appear to be any frame damage... so IT WILL RIDE AGAIN!.
filmed a little vlog while checking it. will edit and post later.... when I get a chance (preparing to go on vacation.)
so instead of my first vlog being on a bike... it will be about why I am not on a bike... heh

also when I got back in there was a message from twofour UK asking if they could use the video for a show.... ... should be interesting. might help offset the cost of repairs.

doing ok.. legs healing with no infection, just getting ready for vacation.. and well look what just showed up today. better late then never.

was going to post up a vlog about the damage... but am on vacation (or on holiday for you brits) and the hotels net is SLOOOOOW was going to be 3 hrs to upload and I cant do it from my room (wifi does not reach room) have to be in the "internet room" for it... so will try tonight when hopefully it will be quicker and I have time to sit here... gonna go to the beach now. peace

dang man, nasty little wreck! I couldn't see the oil clearly until it was slo-mo'd, there was quite a bit! The shorts and sandals riders need to watch this.
