I only weigh 140 so its not to bad. I plan on getting an oil cooler and a twelve bar next. After that just cosmetic stuff!

You don't really need the oil cooler and they are all mounted right in front of the engine which puts hotter air on the engine which isn't the best for a air cooled engine. My buddy has had the 140 kit the 180 kit the 200 something kit and now the finbro 204 full motor. Never once ran a oil cooler. The grom is one of the funniest bikes I've ever road but I can't stand the stock 125.

I dont mind the 125 to much for me its just part of it. Where I live it hits 120 and already now ive had it run a little hot. Ive heard from people with the 5 row oil cooler that it drops the temp by 50 degrees.

It doesn't get like that here but it gets super hot. We haven't had problems like that with any of our builds. let me know how that works out for you when you get it.

I would recommend it. Taking the side cover off the clean the filter is just asking for a oil leak at some point in time.

I only clean the spinner and screen every other time

It could still get bad. Plus reading the oil level is much easier with the side case and you take off the spinner so less rotating mass which helps on a little motor.

I know the feeling I've had a 480cc big bore kit for my drz400 for about a year and I'm saving up to buy cams and valves and springs and shit. That's all I need but it's still allot of money. I get the port and the valve job done at my friends shop so that's not a big deal at all but I gotta buy the parts for the head. I built my ruckus on a budget and now I never ride it. I have a shit ton of money sunk into that thing.
