usually if i'm almost ran over, i just disappear. I try not to escalate anything. My friend however, usually (at least) revs loudly, stares them down, maybe flips them off. There was this one time, though, where he threw a bag of combos at a dude through his window.

Completely agree Kitty, I give them a death glare when I'm at the side then forget about it, riding off angry only leads to trouble.

Having said that I knew a guy that carried around big fuck off nuts and bolts while riding, if someone almost knocked him off he'd race in front and throw one or two over his shoulder. a-la free windscreen crack test.
