I tried a split screen effect on the more narrow road and then abjusted the playback speed once we are on the bridge. Neat part about the bridge was the audio stayed same speed. Also, I you listening through headphones, you can hear the folks talking on the bridge pretty good considering the mic is in my helmet.

What do you all think about mixing things up like this on videos?

I have a stupidly huge ultrawide screen monitor so I prefered the side by side view to the PIP over the saddlebag.
The side by side view might look a little more balanced if the rear view was on the right side of the screen and headcam view was on the left half of the screen as the luggage would frame it a little nicer possibly. If you are using the PIP view, could you not zoom in slightly on the rear view so that the luggage takes up a little more room and then keep the PIP headcam within the part of the image the luggage takes up so it doesn't encroach on the rear view looking at the road? :-)

as an example of what I was trying to describe! :-)

I might be talking poop though, I am quite good at that! :D

We all are. We are motovloggers after all.

If I get skilled enough with Premiere 15 I would like to try having moving transitions where a view shrinks and another view comes on screen. The could even move past each other.

But that might be overproducing and take away from the authenticity of it all. Perhaps I will save it for a dramatic styled spoof video.
