The low beam on my 1994 GSX-R 750 W. The high beams works but when I flip the switch for low beams there is nothing. I am thinking it maybe a wiring problem. anyone else have this problem? some of my dials on the cluster do not work either.

Check the tail lights work in dipped position.
Check the fuses.
Check the wiring in and out of the switch.
Shoot switch cleaner in to the switch and work it (baby). You can use IPA if you have it, and others say they have used ACF50 and WD40 before. You could also take apart the switch and clean it, but be VERY careful it all does't explode out if you dislodge any springs or pins.

Thank you Lurch. Was thinking about taking it apart and cleaning it. Had to do that with the old Honda Interceptor that my father use to ride.

If you can shoot some stuff in, it will give you an answer, and it's not bad stuff to have about to clean up electrical connectors when you are servicing the bike and have to undo spades, give am a quick clean if they need it.

I have a 600 srad for the track :)

Does it lose power or anything, random electric issues etc? It could be your regulator going?

If it has two bulbs the odds of both going at the same time is slim, but not improbable. Check there first I guess.

Thinking on, tail lights should come on from the side/parking light position, but check their operation in all switch positions anyway, if they go off when you get to dipped, it's the switch.

Do the high beams work off the rocker switch or the passing light or both by the way?

works off the rocker switch i think. its a switch for high and low beam. I will be looking at the bulbs here shortly and the switch and will see what I can do thank you for the advice
