Track Day Costs

This is my Brand New 2014 Honda CTX 1300
Hey There;
I have noticed that the most nearest track that is close to me, Thunder Valley Racetrack, runs about 200 dollars per hour with a 4 hour minimum which equals about 800 dollars. Is there any other tracks that are cheaper than that here in the states, or are most of them like that across the USA???

what bike would you be taking to the track?

Yep, it is a lot. I just wish it was not so pricey. This is the website at: http://www.okthunder.com/ . I am going to see if I can find something cheaper than that that is even closer soon. Wow, 95 pounds is only $153.77 .

That's a full day as well.

Do you not have training classed like a knee down school? They tend to rent tracks so you'll get loads of experience and track time.

This sort of thing :) http://kneedownschool.com/

I doubt you'll get as much track time as a full session but they tend to be loads cheaper than your $800, that's a joke price!

I'm guessing the track doesn't have open track days as such?

Thanks for the link.
I will have to see if there is such a school in the USA aside from a MSF course.
Yeah that sounds like a joke price in my opinion.
Yeah, I think the only open track days are if you can afford it at that price. LOL :)

In Australia, it depends on the track. Phillip Island, one of the best tracks in the world? Between $230 and $270.

A boring track like QLD Raceway? $150 during the week. And plenty of prices in between (though there's one or two regional tracks that are a bit cheaper than $150).

That's a for a whole day, too.

Wow, that is way cheaper than that link to the racetrack I posted. I will have to see if there is anything cheaper here in the states. Maybe some racetracks here in the states should follow Australia's lead, huh?? LOL :)
