I've gone 80mph (Interstate speed in the countryside is 75mph here) without a problem . At 80, you're in the mid-range as far as rpms go in 6th, but as long as you maintain a steady hand, it's all good .

EDIT: I might have even done 85 !)

Ok I see now. My dads biggest issue with getting a 600 is it's capability to comfortably cruise on the freeways. No doubt those things can seriously hall but a nice steady cruise speed is what he had in mind... personally I don't really care XD

Amazing!! It's purely amazing on the freeway. It'll respond to everything you want the bike to do. Whether it's filtering through or quickly change lanes because some idiot cut you off real close. It has more than enough power but it's works so well. Streets or even the freeway, it'll be smooth either way.
