Have the tire checked for proper balance. I know with a car tire they have to add weights to the rim to balance the tire due to imperfections and what not. It could also be an indication of a weakening fork or wheel bearing.

Get it checked out as soon as possible...If it is making the handle bars shake you could be in for a nasty spill.

it'll be the balance.. i had a new tyre put on today and my mechanic was telling me what would happen if they were unbalanced and that is one of the things lol.. take it to the garage, they will balance it for you

Scolloped front tire. If the tread wears unevenly and the tread ends up higher-lower-higher-lower, (like this: http://www.southbayriders.com/forums/at ... ntid=43666 ) then you will get the wobble. I think its caused by running incorrect pressures, but once its happened, you cant undo it. New tire time.

Just another possibility if balance is not an issue.

Seconded. I've had that happen to me on several occasions, generally near the end of the tires life.
